Comments: I researched online to locate a doctor who deals with medical marijuana and this location is very close to my home. Also there were many positive reviews on the website that was also another reason to visit this office. Doctor was very kind and informative

For years i slept no more than three hours a day due to pain throughout the night. Lack of sleep has a very detrimental effect on a person's mental and physical well being.
Many times i was at my wits end and i had some very frightening thoughts as to what my options were to ease my misery. The sinthetic opioids were not effective. I met Dr. Kinyungu and was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the process was to get registered for the medical marijuana program. In my first week in the program i was able to sleep for five hours one night. I still had pain but it was greatly reduced and when i did wake up from pain i was able to get back to sleep in short while if time. In the following weeks i began to feel like a new person as i was getting more and more sleep. I finally had a viable solution
And no longer felt hopeless.
I have nothing but great praise for ITAV and Dr. Kinyungu. Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, and God bless you! You are helping people get a portion of their lives back and at the same time reducing their dependancy on prescription opioids. I cannot thank you enough.

Throughout this day I had my doubts as to whether this was all legit. During my morning visit tho, I started feeling more comfortable with the process. All my questions were answered in full and the process of registration was very clear and easy. The Dr. also answered questions about other options that he is familiar with administering in the event that I choose other routes. Within less than 10 hours time, I was given all the requirements to move forward to get my medical card. Thank you Dr. Kinyungu for making this process simple.

I would highly recommend Dr Kinyungu. I have been suffering from lower back pain for a year. I have had surgery and in the process of having my second surgery. i have tried every other pain medication, I figured why not try medical marijuana, the doctor made it very simple explained everything thoroughly. I called Dr Ngugi Kinyungu on Friday June 9 and was able to speak directly with him and also was able to get an appointment for next Monday the 12th. My wife and I visited Dr Ngugi Kinyungu on Monday June 12 and didn’t have to wait at all. We found Dr Ngugi Kinyungu to be very knowledgeable regarding my wife Deirdre’s severe scoliosis and the associated chronic pain that she suffers. Dr Ngugi Kinyungu thoroughly explained the NYS Medical Marijuana program to us and provided to us complete instructions regarding how it is dispensed. We really liked Dr Ngugi Kinyungu and would highly recommend Dr Ngugi Kinyungu to anyone requiring pain management expertise.

After hearing about all the hoops NYS has placed on the program, I was a bit apprehensive about scheduling an appointment—thinking it would be an extensive/obtrusive procedure. I also wasn't sure this was a legit site. I decided to try anyway. Dr. Kinyungu/ITAV is the closest to my location, so I picked them, and filled out all the required info. Within 24 hours Dr. Kinyungu called me and set up an appointment for the next business day. During the appointment, Dr. Kinyungu seemed legitimately interested in my condition, and in discussing how medical marijuana could help. I would definitely recommend.

My mother and I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Kinyungu recently in consultation at his Plainview office. My mother has chronic pain due to a number of health issues and suffers the consequences of the opiates she takes (while not even gaining the required relief). She very reluctantly pursued this medical marijuana alternative. This is a whole new journey for her (us) so we were both very nervous about both the visit and the process. Dr Kinyungu couldn’t have been more respectful or compassionate. He spent so much time with us and gave us options to explore and offered his personal number if we had additional questions. Setting up the appt with this Dr. couldn't be easier. I placed the email on Monday night and Wednesday afternoon of the same week he called us. We were able to see him sooner then expected. What a relief!! Our appt was at 5pm unfortunately we were running late, but Dr. Kinyungu was kind enough to wait for us. We entered the room concerned and full of questions, Dr. Kinyungu put our mind at ease. We left the office content knowing we are making the right choices.
